COVID-19 Ontario Update: October 25, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, Public Health Ontario reported another 326** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 183 none, 7 partial, 95 full, 41 unknown), bringing the total to 597,841. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Sunday. Of those, 584,780 are resolved (97.8 per cent) and 9,846 people have died (zero more than Sunday).

There are 163 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals not reporting weekend bed census), 138 in ICU and 94 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 18,795,690 (18,397 more than Sunday) and results are pending for 7,979.

Ontario has administered 22,394,887 vaccine doses (9,697 more than Sunday), 10,937,705 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (33), Toronto (39), York Region (31) and Ottawa (24) account for 127 of today’s cases.
