
CORNWALL – The leader of the Canadian Forces aerospace school is changing hands.
Lt. Col. Donald Armstrong takes over as commend of the school from Lt. Col. Kevin Ciesielski.
The Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Control Operations at Nav Canada held a change of command ceremony this morning (Aug. 6).
The Department of National Defence says Armstrong has served 16 years, which includes a number of command and staff roles. He was also deputy commander of the aerospace school in 2017. He has been on air traffic control tours in Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and Quebec.
Ciesielski is moving to a directorial position in Ottawa.
The Canadian Forces Aerospace Control Operations trains all aerospace control officers and operators in the military.
