WILLIAMSTOWN – A second rendition of Canada’s oldest fair from the seat of your car or truck will take place this weekend at the Williamstown fairgrounds.
The 210th edition of the Williamstown Fair goes Saturday (Aug. 7) from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a drive-thru edition.
This will be the second year the fair is a drive-thru event due to the pandemic.
In a president’s message, St. Lawrence Valley Agricultural Society’s Chelsea Hope says this is a “great opportunity to get creative, bring hope to our friends and neighbours, reflecting on the values of country living and celebrate the true meaning and strength of community.”
There is no charge for the event.
You will be able to see agricultural displays, antique tractors and farm equipment plus there are home and garden competitions being held virtually.
