Positive COVID-19 case at Cornwall McDonald’s

CORNWALL – The McDonald’s restaurant on Brookdale Avenue was temporarily shut down Thursday after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The company shut down the restaurant at 1301 Brookdale Avenue for a “thorough cleaning and sanitization by a certified third party,” McDonald’s said in a statement.

The location opened this morning (Friday).

The last time the affected employee worked was Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 3) from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Other workers who have been in close contact with the worker have been asked to self-quarantine.
