WINCHESTER – Police are searching for two suspects in a home invasion in Winchester over the weekend.

SD&G O.P.P. say two men forced themselves into a home on Victoria Street around 10 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 17) and beat up a resident in the home before stealing some money.

The suspects then ran away.

The man at the home was not seriously hurt, police added.

The O.P.P. brought out a police dog to try and track the suspects but were not able to find them. Forensics is still working on the case.

Police have a vague description of the culprits: they were white, wearing dark face coverings and dark clothing and one man had dark hair.
