CORNWALL – Police are looking for witnesses to an early morning crash on Montreal Road on Sunday (Aug. 30).
A car struck a hydro pole near the intersection of Louisa Street just after 4 a.m.
The driver, a 49-year-old man, died at the scene from his injuries.
“The next of kin of the deceased have been notified and out of respect for the family, no further details are being released at this time,” spokesman Stephanie MacRae said in a statement.
