AKWESASNE – Police are trying to figure out who stole a car from a church parking lot and later drove it into the St. Lawrence River.
Akwesasne Mohawk Police say the vehicle was stolen in St. Regis on Saturday (July 25).
The police marine unit later found it in the water off the eastern tip of Cornwall Island.
