MORRISBURG – A man died of his injuries after an early morning house fire in Morrisburg.
The fire at a home on St. Lawrence Street started around 3:20 a.m. Friday and was put out by South Dundas firefighters.
SD&G O.P.P. say a person inside the home was able to get out with the help of neighbours.
The 80-year-old victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died, police said.
The Ontario Fire Marshal and SD&G O.P.P. officers are investigating.
