Man caught with carload of Molotov cocktails

SOUTH STORMONT – Provincial police arrested a man in the middle of the night on Monday with a carload of suspected Molotov cocktails.

The suspect was nabbed on Headline Road in South Stormont around 2:30 a.m. after police received a complaint about a suspicious person.

SD&G O.P.P. say the man had “various improvised explosive devices” in his car.

He was arrested without incident and there were no injuries.

A 37-year-old man from Richmond Hill, Ont. is facing a charge of making or possessing explosives.
