ST. ANDREWS WEST – A teenage driver from South Stormont has lost their licence for a week and had their car impounded for the same amount of time.

SD&G O.P.P. say they clocked a vehicle at 145 kilometers an hour in an 80 kilometer an hour zone on Highway 138 in South Stormont around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night.

The 18-year-old was charged with stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

It happened on the same day a rollover happened in the morning on the highway near Moose Creek which sent six people to hospital. Police are still investigating the cause of that crash.
