CORNWALL – A man from Rockland is serving a two-and-a-half year prison sentence for a violent home invasion in Cornwall in May 2018.

Christopher Beaulieu, 45, was sentenced this fall in a Cornwall court to 30 months in prison.

Beaulieu is also prohibited from owning or possessing weapons for life and he has to submit a sample of his DNA.

He was found guilty on charges of robbery, assault, unlawful confinement, three counts of breaching court orders and one count of possession of cocaine.

Court documents show Beaulieu went into a Guy Street home on May 5, 2018 and assaulted the man there with a stick and a knife.

The victim, who police said was a stranger to Beaulieu, required medical attention.
