O.P.P. food drive brings in 4,400 pounds for holiday season

SD&G – The SD&G O.P.P. Auxiliary Unit has collected roughly 4,400 pounds of food in its annual “Stuff The Cruiser With Food Drive” for local food banks.

The Nov. 16 event also raised about $3,700.

The most food was collected in Dundas County while the most money came from Glengarry County donors.

The participating food banks are Community Food Share, St. Vincent de Paul and the Agape Center.

The O.P.P. Auxiliary Unit and the SD&G O.P.P. are calling the event a “huge success.”
