MAXVILLE – Four months after their initial investigation, SD&G O.P.P. have charged a third person in connection to a home invasion this summer in North Glengarry.
A 33-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Wednesday (Nov. 20) and is facing nine charges including kidnapping and robbery with a weapon.
Police say three people broke into a home on Kenyon Concession Road 8 shortly before 6 a.m. on July 11 and held a victim against his will.
Several things were stolen from the house before the culprits drove away with the victim inside the car before dumping the vehicle nearby.
The victim was not injured, police said.
At the time, they arrested and charged a 30-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman – both from Cornwall.
The third suspect was arrested last week.
