CORNWALL – You’ll have a chance to have your say about the Cornwall Police Service as the force goes through a voluntary accreditation.
Members of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) will touring the police stations on Monday, Dec. 2.
They will also hold a public information session on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Benson Center Automotive Room, where members of the community can offer comments about the force.
There’s a time limit of 10 minutes per person and comments are limited to the police service’s ability to meet the accreditation standards. Speaking at the event requires an RSVP to Lori Greer at 613-933-5000 extension 2407 or email to greer.l@cornwallpolice.com.
If you can’t make it, you can call in earlier that day at 613-930-7420 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and you can also submit written comments to:
