Fuel thieves target North Dundas business

WINCHESTER – Police are trying to figure out who stole a “significant” amount of fuel from a North Dundas business.

SD&G O.P.P. were altered about the theft just after 7 a.m. on Monday (Aug. 12) that occurred overnight on Benson George Road, about seven kilometers north of Winchester.

Const. Tylor Copeland told Cornwall Newswatch the thieves made off with a “significant” amount of fuel – draining two holding tanks of unleaded and diesel fuel.

An investigation is ongoing.
