CORNWALL – Four months after its Cornwall dean was shown the exit door, St. Lawrence College has started looking for a replacement.

The college posted a job ad this week on at least one academia website advertising the position, which pays between $127,503 and $170,003 plus benefits.

The ad sells Cornwall to the potential college manager as a city that “boasts industry, research, commerce and a thriving arts community.”

The dean oversees 67 full time equivalent (FTE) faculty and staff and 1,200 students, which includes 300 international students.

The college has been without a Cornwall dean after it parted ways with Deb Stava. She had been in the position for two years after Don Fairweather retired.
