Day 7 of scuba diver search off Macdonell Island

LONG SAULT – Police are back out on the St. Lawrence River near Macdonell Island in South Stormont today, searching for a missing scuba diver.

The man was diving with a buddy at Lock 21 off the Long Sault Parkway when he failed to resurface last Tuesday (June 11) morning.

SD&G O.P.P. say the underwater search and recovery unit, marine unit and a chopper were out during the weekend with negative results and the search continues today (Monday).
