Two arrested in North Glengarry drug bust

ALEXANDRIA – Two people are facing drug-related charges after a bust on Friday (May 10).

SD&G O.P.P. and several specialized O.P.P. units searched a home on William Street in Alexandria and seized crystal meth, cocaine, magic mushrooms, heroin, ecstasy and marijuana.

They also found crossbows, knives, pellet guns and cash.

A 40-year-old North Glengarry man and a 39-year-old North Glengarry woman are facing a number of charges including drug trafficking.

The same two suspects are accused of shoplifting at the Brookdale Avenue business on April 1 and were charged by Cornwall police.
