North Dundas high school closed today

Update 9 p.m. Tuesday: North Dundas District High School will be closed Wednesday.

MAPLE RIDGE – School board officials have closed North Dundas District High School today (Tuesday) due to a power problem.

The school on County Road 43 between Winchester and Chesterville has been hit by a power outage, spokesman April Scott-Clarke said in an email.

“We will be posting updates to the school’s Facebook page as we know more,” she wrote.

Scott-Clarke added that the outage is isolated to the building.

Hydro One’s power outage map doesn’t show any problems with the electricity grid in North Dundas as of 8:40 a.m.
