MORRISBURG – The mayor and councillors in South Dundas will be looking to chat with residents one-on-one next month about issues in the municipality.

The first “Coffee with Council” session will start on Wednesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. at Matilda Hall.

Four other events will happen at the same time on the following four Wednesdays in May – Dunbar Recreation Hall on May 8, Iroquois Civic Center on May 15, Williamsburg IOOF Hall on May 22 and South Dundas Municipal Center on May 29.

The public consultation events will also allow council to share its vision for the next four years.

South Dundas Mayor Steven Byvelds says they heard from voters during the election that they wanted to speak with council on issues and “that is what we will be doing the whole month of May.”
