Cache of drugs seized at Cornwall border

CORNWALL – A Quebec man is facing a number of drug-related charges after Cornwall border officers uncovered a cache of drugs on Saturday (March 2).

City police say the man was stopped at the Cornwall port of entry where authorities found methamphetamine pills, cocaine and MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy.

A 27-year-old Quebec man is charged with three counts of drug possession, one count of drug trafficking, one count of possession of stolen property and one count of breach of probation.

He was held for a bail hearing.
