SD&G – Environment Canada has upgraded its winter storm watch to a winter storm warning.

That means 30-40 centimeters (11.8-15.7 inches) of snow, coupled with wind gusts up to 60 kilometers an hour, are imminent.

The snow is expected to start tomorrow and continue through Wednesday afternoon with the most intense snowfall expected tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

The weather agency says driving will be difficult with sudden reduced or near zero visibility as the wind whips up the freshly fallen snow.
