Brazen thief steals pickup truck

CORNWALL – A brazen thief hopped in a brand new pickup truck and made off with it on Third Street East in Cornwall on Thursday (Jan. 31).

Now, police are trying to identify the suspect, caught on a nearby surveillance camera.

The 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup truck was taken in the area of 123 Third Street East around 10:30 a.m.

Police spokesman Stephanie MacRae told Cornwall Newswatch the truck doors were unlocked and the keys were in the vehicle.

The last three digits of the licence plate are “937”.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicle are asked to call police.
