LANCASTER – South Glengarry and its chief administration officer have parted ways.

In a three line statement, Clerk Kelli Campeau said Bryan Brown “is no longer employed by the Township.”

Brown wasn’t at last night’s council meeting. The council met after the public meeting behind closed doors to talk about a report from Campeau about “personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.”

“Bryan made a significant contribution to the Township during his years here, and Council wishes him the best of success in the future,” Mayor Frank Prevost added in the statement.

A replacement hasn’t been named as the council considers its options “over the next few weeks.”

Bryan Brown had been CAO since 2014.
