Snow squall warning for SD&G

Update 1:58 p.m. Wednesday: The snow squall warning has ended.

SD&G – Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for SD&G.

The agency says a cold front will pass through the region this afternoon (Wednesday) and conditions are right for “brief but intense” snow squalls.

A snow squall warning is issued when intense snowfall, usually over less than one hour, will reduce visibility to 400 meters (1,300 feet) or less, pushed by winds over 45 kilometers an hour.
