No injuries in crash at Fourth and Cumberland

CORNWALL – City police say there were no injuries in a crash between a car and a sport utility vehicle at a city intersection.

Emergency responders were called around 5:15 p.m. Monday to the Fourth Street and Cumberland Street.

One of the vehicles also sheared off a fire hydrant.

“No injuries were sustained as a result of the collision, and no charges have been laid at this time,” police spokesman Stephanie MacRae told Cornwall Newswatch Tuesday afternoon.
