CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts fell 4-1 to the league leading Hawkesbury Hawks Thursday night.
Cornwall was first on the board with a goal by Konnor MacCormick in the first period.
But the Hawks fought back with three goals in the second period and then an empty-netter at the end of the third period.
Cornwall also managed to gather 22 minutes in penalties – 14 of those were produced by MacCormick, including a 10 minute game misconduct for a check to the head of an opposing player.
There were a reported 947 people in the stands for the game.
Cornwall is back in action tonight (Friday) in Smiths Falls at 7:30 p.m.
