IROQUOIS – A woman thrown from an all-terrain vehicle in mid-August in South Dundas has died of her injuries in hospital.
SD&G O.P.P. say 18-year-old Jasmine Saunders of Cardinal succumbed to her injuries on Sunday (Oct. 28).
She was one of three people aboard an ATV that rolled in a ditch on Broken Second Road, west of Iroquois, just after midnight on Aug. 17. The trio were ejected from the quad.
At the time, two people were listed in serious condition while another was taken by Ornge air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
Saunders was a passenger on the ATV, police said.
The identities of the other two victims have not been released.
An investigation by SD&G O.P.P. and O.P.P. Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI) is ongoing and police say further information will be coming.
