CORNWALL – Police are searching for a couple of suspected shoplifters and are hoping you can help out.

The theft happened on Wednesday last week (Aug. 15) at a Ninth Street business. Police wouldn’t disclose the location due to their policy that the business is a crime victim.

Investigators have released images from security footage in hopes that somebody may identify them.

The female suspect, believed to be in her 20s, has short, brown hair and was wearing a blue tank top and black shorts.

The man was wearing all black – hat, shorts and shirt.

If you know who they are, call Const. Gabriel Perreault at 613-933-5000 extension 2799. You can also call Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where your anonymous tip can lead to a cash reward.
