CORNWALL – Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run in the north end of Cornwall.
City police sent out a public appeal today (Friday) in the collision on Tuesday last week (Aug. 14) around 9 p.m.
A man was taken to hospital by ambulance after he was hit on McConnell Avenue, north of the Highway 401 overpass. He’s in serious condition, police said.
There’s no description of the vehicle, though police are hopeful somebody may have been in the area at the time and saw something.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and call Const. Matt Dupuis, head of the traffic division, at 613-933-5000 extension 2755.
