Cornwall soccer player going to world final

CORNWALL – A Cornwall soccer player will be representing the region and the country on the world stage next year.

Isaac Charbonneau, 12, has been selected for the Canadian boy’s team at the Danone Nations Cup world final in Barcelona, Spain.

The world’s biggest tournament for girls and boys 10-12 years old, takes place September 2019.

Team Canada will prepare for the final with Patrick Leduc. He is coach of the DNC Canada team and is a former player with the Major League Soccer (MLS) Montreal Impact.
