CORNWALL – A motorcyclist was treated for non-life threatening injuries after a crash involving a vehicle on South Branch Road (County Road 19A) Tuesday afternoon.

Cornwall-SDG Paramedic Services, Cornwall firefighters and Cornwall police were called to the scene just outside Notre-Dame Cemetery – within eye shot of Boundary Road (County Road 19) – before 4 p.m.

Cornwall police Sgt. Scott Coulter told Cornwall Newswatch the biker was being treated by paramedics at the scene, but their injuries were considered non-life threatening.

A minivan was also parked by the side of the road between two police cruisers and an ambulance.

The minivan later left the scene while a tow truck driver loaded up the sport-touring style motorcycle with saddle bags.

A section of the road was briefly closed in order to clear the scene.

There’s no word on whether charges will be laid.
