CORNWALL – A year-and-a-half after taking the reins of the Agape Center, Executive Director Diane Plourde is leaving.

She will be going back to her previous role as executive director of Victim Services of SDG&A, which will also oversee Koala Place. Both organizations will be moving to a location together in May.

Plourde was hired in September 2016 after Alyssa Blais resigned to pursue new opportunities.

Current Agape Operations Manager Johanne Couture will take over the executive director position as the organization merges both roles.

The merger of jobs will allow the food bank, soup kitchen and thrift shop to hire a fund development and public education coordinator.
