CORNWALL – The city is bracing for a heavy dumping of snow through Thursday, which could bring us nearly a foot of snow (30 centimeters) in 48 hours.

There is no overnight parking allowed overnight tomorrow night (Tuesday) and Wednesday night (between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. the following day).

Safety, Training and Operations Supervisor Tommy Sauve says total snowfall amounts over the next two to three days are expected to be as much as 30 centimeters (12 inches).

As of 1 p.m. Monday, Environment Canada had issued no watches, warnings or special weather statements for SD&G and Cornwall.
