SD&G – Get ready for “several rounds of significant rain,” starting tonight (Monday).
Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning for SD&G Leeds-Grenville this afternoon, calling for 25-40 millimeters (0.98-1.57 inches) of rain by Wednesday morning.
Some areas could experience 30-50 millimeters (1.18-1.96 inches) of rain.
Coupled with the warm temperatures, there’s also going to be significant snow melt, which could lead to some flooding, the agency said.
The rain is expected to end Wednesday as a cold front sweeps into the area.
