WILLIAMSTOWN – A house has been gutted by fire, south of Williamstown.
South Glengarry’s four fire stations were called to the farm property on County Road 19 near Kraft Road just before 9 a.m. Monday.
The building was fully engulfed in fire by the time first responders arrived, the department said.
“This call was for a house fire with (a) complete loss. Thankful that no one was in the home at the time. This will be a big hit to a community farming family,” the township fire department tweeted.
Firefighters wrapped up at the scene just before 1 p.m.
