Donation for youth conservation courses

CORNWALL – One of the region’s conservation authorities has received money to put on educational programs.

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority has received $6,000 from TD Friends of the Environment.

The money, given on Monday (Jan. 15) at Gray’s Creek Conservation Area, will be used to cover materials for educational field trips and outdoor classroom activities.

The RRCA manages three conservation areas – the other two are Cooper Marsh and Charlottenburgh Park.
