Arrest in Pitt Street armed robbery

CORNWALL – A Cornwall man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery at a corner store on Sunday (Nov. 12).

City police say a man went into a Pitt Street convenience store and pulled a handgun on the clerk while demanding money.

The police department’s criminal investigations branch located the suspect yesterday (Nov. 14) and arrested him without incident.

Dillon Brunet, 20, is facing charges of robbery with a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, pointing a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of cocaine.

He was held for a bail hearing in a Cornwall court.

Police did not identify the store that was robbed.
