CORNWALL – City councillors will discuss today (Monday) how things have gone as far as progress in Cornwall and where the municipality is going.

An update on the city’s strategic plan will be held during a special council meeting at 1 p.m. at Nav Center on Montreal Road.

Any decision made by staff and city council is consistently weighed against its so-called “four pillars”: quality of life, economic and financial, environment, and governance and administration.

Council is also expected to talk about a number of topics, including council size and composition, the upcoming budget, social housing and relationships with neighbouring townships.

City council is heading into the final year of its mandate before voters go to the polls in November 2018.
