Driver on radar 71 km/h over the speed limit

SOUTH DUNDAS – A driver from southwestern Ontario had to find another way to get to his destination after losing his vehicle for a week.

SD&G O.P.P. clocked a vehicle on Highway 401 on Tuesday morning (Aug. 1) going 171 kilometers an hour through South Dundas.

The driver – a 46-year-old man from Guelph – has been charged with stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

He had his vehicle impounded and his licence suspended for a week.
