CORNWALL – A section of Brookdale Avenue is closed today (Wednesday) for a water main repair.
Brookdale is closed between Ninth and Thirteenth Streets.
The city has set up access for passenger vehicles to get to Brookdale businesses via Twelfth Street West from Hebert Street. For East Side Mario’s, the city has put up a sign at Ninth Street, allowing vehicles to turn into the restaurant parking lot.
The main traffic detour is via Cumberland Street.
The City of Cornwall is thanking motorists for their patience while the work is completed.
