CORNWALL – The City of Cornwall has ranked 289th out of 417 communities in MoneySense Magazine’s 2017 tabulations on the Best Places to Live.
The ranking is down from last year where the Seaway City ended up 190th out of 219.
MoneySense expanded the list to roughly twice as many Canadian communities as 2016.
Cornwall did get score well when it came to home affordability and good weather.
It also ended up in the top 25 percentile for ease of walking, biking and taking transit.
Elsewhere in Eastern Ontario, Brockville ranked 316th, Hawkesbury was 311, Kingston was 46th and Ottawa was number one.
