Canada 150 Service Award noms extended

SDSG – A deadline for community service awards celebrating Canada’s birthday has been extended.

SDSG MP Guy Lauzon announced Friday, the deadline has been extended another week until next Friday (June 16) at 5 p.m.

Lauzon’s chief of staff, Adrian Bugelli, told Cornwall Newswatch they have received “well over 200” nominations and “every day this week we are bringing in piles more.”

Nominations can be mailed in, without postage, to: Parliament Hill Office of MP Guy Lauzon, Room 647-S, Centre Block, House of Commons, Ottawa, ON, K1A 0A6.

They can also be dropped off at the constituency office at 621 Pitt Street in Cornwall.

In order to be eligible, the person must live in SDSG and the activities they have done have benefited the community.
