Four vehicles impounded over Victoria Day weekend

SD&G – Provincial police impounded four vehicles for excessive speeding during the Victoria Day weekend.

Three drivers were caught on Highway 401 in South Dundas while a fourth was nabbed on County Road 3 in North Dundas.

The traffic stops happened on Sunday and the holiday Monday.

The male drivers stopped were an 18-year-old from South Dundas (the County Road 3 stop), a 20-year-old man from Oakville, a 38-year-old from Montreal and a 51-year-old from Toronto.

In all cases, their vehicles were seized for a week and their driver’s licence was suspended for the same amount of time under Ontario’s street racing law.
