MOOSE CREEK – Provincial police have released a few more details after a head-on crash Tuesday on Highway 138 in North Stormont.

While not identifying the victims by name, SD&G O.P.P. have revealed the hometowns of the drivers. Both are from outside SD&G.

A car, driven by a 27-year-old man from Ottawa, somehow crossed the center line and collided with a transport truck around 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.

The 37-year-old truck driver from Vaudreuil-Dorion, Que. was not injured.

However, the man from Ottawa remains in hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries, police said.

A section of Highway 138 (County Road 43 to County Road 15) was closed for the afternoon and part of the evening on Tuesday before it reopened at 8 p.m.

Accident reconstruction experts are still working the case.
