CORNWALL – A city man has been charged with possession of child pornography.
Alain Vallee, 29, was arrested Tuesday (April 18) after an investigation by the CCPS Criminal Investigation Division.
The investigation was part of the O.P.P.’s Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet.
Cornwall police Const. Dan Cloutier told Cornwall Newswatch some electronic equipment was seized after police executed a search warrant at a city home.
Vallee was later released with a court appearance date of May 25, 2017.
