WINCHESTER SPRINGS – Provincial police have identified the man killed in a head-on crash on County Road 31, north of the village.
SD&G O.P.P. say Neville Vincent, 67, of North Dundas died when his Mini Cooper crossed the center line and collided with a milk tanker.
The driver of the truck – a 44-year-old man from Valleyfield, Que. — was not injured.
Investigators, including an accident reconstruction expert, are still trying to determine why Vincent’s car crossed into oncoming traffic.
A section of the highway was closed to traffic Tuesday but has since reopened.
