SD&G science fair winners head to Regina

CORNWALL – Four students from SD&G will be heading to Regina next month after winning at the United Counties Science Fair.

The 42nd edition of the fair on Saturday (April 1) at St. Lawrence High School saw over 350 students from 20 area schools compete for over $14,000 in prizes and awards.

Grade seven Char-Lan District High School student Cullen St. Clair won with his project “How Weight Affects Traction”.

Grade eight students Eve Tremblay and Megan Tremblay-Doyle from L’Heritage high school won for their project “La vie en vert” (the green life).

Emytt Fetterly, an eighth-grader from Seaway District High School, won for his project “How fast is fast acting pain reliever?”

They will be at the Canada Wide Science Fair at the University of Regina May 14-21, 2017.
