Parole violator may come to Cornwall, Akwesasne

TORONTO – Federal authorities are cautioning people to be on the lookout for a man, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Christopher Raymond, 41, is wanted by the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad for breaking his parole orders.

Raymond was serving a two year and three month sentence for 11 charges including having a weapon during the commission of a crime, dangerous driving, flight from police and possession of an unauthorized weapon.

Raymond is described as native, 5-foot-9, 175 pounds with a light complexion, brown eyes and short black and grey hair.

Police say he’s known to frequent Ottawa, Cornwall, Gatineau, and Oka/Akwesasne, Que.
