CORNWALL – The Cornwall Nationals will host their first skills competition later this month.
The Federal Hockey League team announced Thursday the event will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 6 p.m. on pad one at the Benson Center.
It will include competitions in shooting accuracy, shootout, passing, hardest shot and fastest skater.
Nationals players will be joined by local first responders while raising money for Chrohn’s and Colitis Canada and Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
The event only requires a donation to one or both of the charities.
The Nationals are also dedicating their game on Friday, March 24, 2017 against the Berlin River Drivers to all first responders, raising awareness and funds for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
